B Dramatization is a particularly valuable way of playfully activating the material. Fantasy reduces barriers to learning. Errors are corrected gently, not in a direct, confrontational manner.
C The teacher does not model the new sounds, but rather uses gestures to show the students how to modify the Portuguese sounds. Students take turns tapping out the sounds.
